Take a piece of paper, thin, flat, flimsy, soft. But when its a brand new piece of paper, and if you're not careful.. it can cut!

My wife has had a paper cut... in her eyes! Hurts like H***! Every now and then she still has watery eyes because of that legendary bruise. But that was because of a paper cut in - probably the most sensitive part of the outer human body.

It reminds us though that sometimes its not always the biggest problems in life that haunts us daily. Sometimes the smallest of problems - though not a pain in the A*** - can be a tormenting experience simply because the problem is prolonged! Like a paper cut in the folds of your fingers - tiny, but that lingering problem can be a real torture simply because it is perpetuated.

So if you are caught in a situation that might just be a small problem, try your best to solve it and move on! Lingering problems can sometimes simmer into a gargantuan ruin!

Agape -

Brotherly love that seeks the highest goodness of a person. Only God gives "unconditional Agape love"

Philia -
Love towards Family, Friends and Society with virtuous values (Loyalty)

Eros -
Passionate love between spouse, often described to be sexual and the appreciation of the beauty of another person.

Storge -
Love from a parent to a child, to care and nurture the young.

Something I learnt as a child... needs another child to remind me of it :)

Many times a lot of us tend to make life more complicated than it really is. These problems that we face can sometimes be solved much easier, if only we can change our perceptions (mental shift). This applies even to Mathematical Problems.

The trouble is, we are sometimes tempted to take the Easy Way Out... When we start thinking of this option, we are already 50% defeated. Running away isn't a solution to any problem. At times, this option can even make things worse.

My dear students, if you should choose your route to go OUT, then you have failed yourself from TRYing! "You are never really beaten until you Give-Up" (Something I had framed up in my old Primary School wall)

Matthew 22:37

"And he said to him, "You shall Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. "

Questioning your own existence, let me remind you the sole purpose of your existence. Without which nothing was created. Nothing would be worth while. Everything would have been in vain if there was no Love for the Creator, Saviour and Friend.
